You can get a loan forgiveness from your loan lender by filing a PPP loan application.
The loan application is a legal document which gives you an opportunity to claim a loan remission, or repay a loan from the loan.
The application is valid for three years and you will need to provide a bank account and a valid passport.
To apply for a loan reduction you must complete an application form (pdf) and submit it to the Department of Finance.
The PPP application form can be downloaded from the Department’s website (www.finance.it).
PPP loans are available for all Italian students in all schools in Italy.
A loan reduction is only granted for those with a loan repayment in excess of the amount of the loan in place.
If the loan is less than a loan amount, the loan may not be reduced at all.
The minimum amount for a PPA loan is €10,000 (approx. $11,800).
For example, a loan of €6,000 would require a repayment of €1,000, with a repayment limit of €3,000.
